Chinnakallar is the third most rainy city in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. It is famous for the lush Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary, which is a reservoir with rare animals and beautiful views of the Anaimalai hills and the Nelliampathy mountain ranges. Monsoon here gets even better with the whole area looking green.

2. Mawsynram

The wettest place on earth, Mawsynram is comfortably located in the Khasi hills of the Indian state of Meghalaya. You will be surprised by the spectacular natural beauty of this place during the monsoon. Located at a distance of 16 km from Cherrapunji, Mawsynram will make you fall in love with its rolling mountains and glowing waterfalls.

3. Agumbe

Agumbe is a quiet picturesque town, which closely resembles the fictional village of Malgudi in the Shimoga district of Karnataka. It is the second highest in regards to rainfall in the country. Its specialties include exotic flora and fauna and the highest waterfall in the state: Kunchikal Falls.
