Why Jodhpur Called Blue City and What Attraction you to see?

Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan and is known as the Blue City and the Sun City in India. It is one of the beautiful cities in India. This city is called the Sun City because it enjoys sunny weather all year round. There are various traditional hotels and palace hotels in Jodhpur. Jodhpur is a very popular tourist destination because there are many forts, temples and palaces.

Why Is Jodhpur Called The Blue City?

Jodhpur is called the blue city because all the buildings in the oldest area are painted light blue. The area is located in the north of the city, and the color scheme is almost uniform. The best place to view the blue oil paintings of Jodhpur is in the battlements of Mehrangarh Fort.

The real reason for the blue color of Jodhpur is more practical motivation than artistic reasoning. The dry and arid environment in Jodhpur is eroded by termites. Small insects destroy and destroy traditional construction techniques, which coat the exterior with lime water. It was found that the termites were repelled by the copper salt compounds and they were added to the lime washing liquid at a low concentration.

Under certain conditions, copper solutions can produce blue compounds, as do the materials used in the exterior walls of Jodhpur houses.

Taking into account my concern for the blue city, the attraction of Jodhpur are spoiled, so for convenience, here are some essential attractions that must be part of the Jodhpur itinerary.
